ASTROLOGICAL ELEMENTS IN THE POETRY OF SHAH LATEEF: A SHORT REVIEW (شاهه لطيف جي شاعريءَ ۾ فلڪياتي عنصر : هڪ مختصر جائزو)

Abstract

The great poet of the Sindhi language, Shah Latif Bhitai, has included many topics in his poetry due to his observations, astronomy being one of them. Astronomy provides information about stars and planets, as well as other small planets in the universe. From the various galaxies in the universe and their solar systems to the movement and magnetic force of these planets, this knowledge has developed greatly in the modern scientific era. According to historical references, this knowledge is thousands of years old. Since ancient times, people have been using various celestial bodies and stars, along with the sun and moon, to measure time. Shah Latif, like other subjects, has included the subject of astronomy in his poetry, and has described romantic and scientific stories through the names of stars that were popular at that time and are still popular to a large extent today. This article discusses poetry by Shah Latif in which Shah Latif mentions astronomical elements, and the article will identify such elements.
