ANDAZ-E-BAYAN AUR, EMERGING POETS OF PAKISTAN: A STUDY OF TAHZEEB HAFI AND ZARYOUN’S POETRY

Abstract

This article focuses on Tahzeeb Hafi and Ali Zaryoun’s poetry that has become a new trend in Pakistan and India and through which they are becoming popular day by day and getting higher position and status in the world of Urdu poetry. It argues that the presence of modern poetic techniques in their poetry make them different from other poets and their style which has become worldwide popular make them emerging and prominent poets of Pakistan. They have changed the trend of poetry through their writings and style of narration. This paper demonstrates that how these contemporary poets are attracting public attention across the social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. A good poet is always imaginative, creative and has provoke thoughts, cause an emotional response sometimes make the readers/listeners happy and sometimes sad. All these characteristics are found in these two poets. They introduced a new form of poetry that anyone can understand easily. Qualitative approach is used to analyze the undertaken topic using the theory of Art for the art’s sake by Victor Cousin.
