The complex nature of Legal language is a significant aspect that influences law students to accomplish their academic tasks. The aim of the paper is to improve the comprehensibility and to save the time of Law students of Pakistan. For this, data is gathered from 250 students from five major universities of Pakistan through a test. Two test (1 & 2) were designed which were comprised of five criminal statues with both versions, original and simplified to measure the comprehension level of law students. After reading each statement regarding criminal statutes, the respondents were supposed to answer the questions followed by each statute. These questions were true/false and short questions. Each question carried equal marks. The instructions were also given to the students in order to mention the starting and ending time of the test. After attempting the test 1, the same students were given ‘test two’ in simplified version. Data is analyzed through SPSS by using descriptive and ANOVA tests. The result revealed the significant difference between both tests in terms of enhancement of comprehensibility and efficiency in Pakistani academic legal settings.
