Abstract

This study examines the concept of the racial reconfiguration explored in Mohsin Hamid's The Last White Man (2022) and examines the ways in which The novel challenges notions of what identity is changing. This research examines the consequences for our the social and personal lives of these sudden changes in the racial picture, as well as how they influence the way that we perceive our personal self-identity. The purpose of this research is to investigate the way the novel Hamid depicts the fluidity of racial distinction and challenges the stereotypes about races and diversity. Hamid's novel is founded on Frantz Fanon's theory on identity of culture and race as well as decolonization. study investigates the changes of the characters as well as their importance with regard to the colonial history as well as identity crises postcolonial. The study involves an analysis of the novel based on Fanon's theories that reveal that the novel's criticism of the notion that race is a concept. The conclusion underscores that Hamid challenges binary racial perceptions and advocates for a more fluid and inclusive understanding of identity.
